The popular juniors store seems to run out of “regular” sizes and be filled with racks of sizes that would barely seem to fit a teen in most cases! The fashion line is said to be dubbed faith 21 and will offer plus sizes above the average of size ten – which is the area at most designers stop producing at. The line will be available in May – just in time for summer and will include sizes that will fit the average size woman who has been determined to be a size 14.

Experts have recommended that the plus size market is one of the quickest growing markets in the fashion world, as designers are beginning to realize that most real women do not fit into the cookie cutter, super model shape that is designed for a size two. It is time that most designers started paying attention to the statistics and designed clothing to fit the average size fourteen women. The collection is going to include a juniors plus size line, in combination with sizes that are XL, 1X and 2X. These designs will follow the direction of the current design of the store and use a combination of runway inspired wear and basic casuals that are required in the wardrobe at rock bottom prices.

It will be interesting to see Forever 21s take on plus size fashion. If anything, it will provide an alternative to frumpy plus size clothing available at most stores, as forever 21 does not do frumpy.
